This is a tragic story, written beautifully. When we moved to Portland, I was surprised that the city had a WHL team. Soon after, I learned from coworkers (and the occasional local sportscast) that these junior players brawled even more frequently than their elders. That particular discovery pretty much ended any chance of Stacey and me attending any games.
