I call bullshit.
Glossing over for a moment the mystery as to why I continue to follow Darren Rovell, whose SPORTZBIZ Aspergerings clog up so many timelines each and every day and night—let’s instead do a rudimentary calculation of this ridiculous consumption claim.
If you take out only those adults in prison and children under five years old, you end up with about 285 million people in the US. 1.25 billion divided by 285 million means that EVERY AMERICAN would need to consume, on average, about four and a half wings during Super Bowl Sunday. Here’s another figure: there is a ZERO percent chance of that happening.
